Permaculture

Permaculture is defined as an agricultural method that seeks to integrate human activity with the natural surroundings so as to create highly efficient self-sustaining ecosystems. It is based on three main ethical principles: taking care of the soil, taking care of human beings and sharing fairly.

The term “permaculture” appeared for the first time in 1978 in Australia when two ecologists, Bill Mollison & David Holmgren, decided to spread this philosophy to as many people as possible in order to accelerate the ecological transition.

As it aims at spreading a lifestyle more respectful of the environment, LaVieVuLinh will be happy to welcome you to join us for several days to exchange about permaculture’s principles and to let you participate to LaVieVuLinh agroecological project.
